Darkest Dungeon on its way to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita This September

We’ve known for a while that PC darling, Darkest Dungeon, would be on its way to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, but we haven’t known when, however, we do now though. It’s September 27th on both consoles at the same time. Not only is it out at the same time, but it’s also Cross-Buy and Cross-Save across PS4 and PS Vita, this is fantastic news for those that like to take their adventures on the move.

Darkest Dungeon is an unrelenting gothic turn-based dungeon crawler where the psychological state of your adventurers can be just as dangerous as the monsters. It’s got a lovely 2D art-style and the PlayStation version brings with it 15 new hero classes and all of the bells and whistles that have been added to the PC version so far, if the PlayStation blog is correct. You can watch the PC release trailer for the game below.

I like video games. That's why I write about them. I've played them for years and in that time I've found a love for creepy horrors, indie darlings and the oddities that come out of Japan. Although my main purpose on the site is to write up news and reviews I'm also one of the main Let's Play video creators of the team (or, as I call them, Brett's Play videos).
