WWE 2K19 Towers Mode Revealed, Leads to Million Dollar AJ Styles Challenge

2K games have detailed how you can win the Million Dollar Challenge competition for WWE 2K19, which includes being able to play against “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles.  We’ve known that to take the first steps in competing in this awesome competition, you must participate via an in-game mode and we now know that the mode in question is Tower, which sounds very similar in a sense to the modes we’ve seen in the Mortal Kombat series.

In the Tower mode, you can play as either a WWE Superstar or one of your MyPlayer characters and as you progress up the towers, you will have to beat a variety of challenging Superstars, match-types and stipulations.  The match-types could include Gauntlet, Iron Man, Submission, Cage matches and more.  The stipulations might also include starting the match on low health, your opponent already having a finisher, beating the clock or a set score, and so forth.

Once you climbed your way to the top of the Tower mountain, you will then be required to beat the AJ Styles Million Dollar Tower.  This will be of a high difficulty, with no player health regeneration as you fight your way through the gauntlet of challenges, before finally going face to face with the in-game AJ Styles.

If you beat the in-game AJ Styles by conquering all the Towers, you must then record yourself cutting a promo stating why you have what it takes to beat The Phenomenal One, with visual proof of the Tower in-game achievement is also required.  Then you must submit your promo video here and if you’re one of the four finalists chosen, you will be flown out to Wrestlemania 35 weekend, to compete against the other finalists in a mini-tournament, and the winner of that tournament goes one-one-one with AJ Styles for a shot of claiming that $1m prize!

You can read up on further details over at the WWE 2K blogWWE 2K19 will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One worldwide on October 9th or October 5th for those that pre-order the Deluxe Edition or the Wooooo! Edition.
