If you were to say that exclamation of Warhammer: Vermintide 2’s release is not really news worthy, since the game has been out for a quite long time, then you’d be excused. As the initial PC release of the title has taken place all the way back in March, of this year. However, nine long months later, the title in question is finally going to his SONY’s PlayStation 4, after taking a short pit-stop in July, on Xbox One.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2, just like its predecessor, is a Left 4 Dead like adventure game, where you get through levels with a group of friends or strangers, while completing objectives and decimating waves of foes. However, unlike Valve’s somewhat forgotten zombie basher, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 also offers a range of RPG like systems, which have been implemented to spruce up the gameplay, and add variety to the proceedings.

In-game, you’ll find an abundance of characters, weapons, skills, and foes, which according to many, will keep you occupied for dozens, if not hundreds of hours. And those of you who dabble in the Warhammer universe, will likely get much more enjoyment out of this particular title, because as its name suggests, it is built on the back of the table top genre.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is out now on PlayStation 4, and despite of its content and rather impressive visuals, it will only cost you the rather meagre £24.99. But if you do not feel like going just for the game itself, then head straight to the PlayStation 4, as Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has launched alongside a plethora of themed content.  Expect our PS4 review to be coming soon.
