Now I only was only thinking to myself the other day, that as excited as I am for my favourite game of all-time to get remade and release next week with Resident Evil 2, it’s a shame that the original voice of Leon S. Kennedy wasn’t recast in the role, the same too goes for Alyson Court who played the original Claire Redfield.

However, on the Facebook pages of Invader Games, the indie developers of the retro, survivor horror throwback Daymare: 1998, they have announced that the original voice of Leon S. Kennedy, Paul Haddad will star in the game.  Now we don’t know what role he will play, but I’m sure Resident Evil fans will agree, that this is pretty awesome news!  You can watch the video by Paul Haddad himself, announcing the news below.

Also, in case you’ve not seen anything of Daymare: 1998, I’ll include a gameplay trailer below (which is early footage) and you can even check out our interview with Invader Studios here.

Daymare: 1998 will release this year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
