PSM3, the popular UK-based PlayStation magazine has its latest July 2011 issue sent out to subscribers, with a cover story of Batman: Arkham City, revealing the first snap shot of one of Batman’s greatest villain’s, the Penguin.

As referenced numerous times in 2009’s Arkham Asylum, as well as being one of the longest-running super-villains in the Batman universe, the Penguin, real name Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, is a welcoming addition to an already fantastic stock of characters in what is arguably one of the most demanded titles of 2011.

Australian newspaper, Sunday Herald, even confirmed on Sunday that the Penguin would make his mark on Arkham City, with developer Rocksteady promising that he’ll be “a really horrible, nasty piece of work”.

The Penguin will be rubbing shoulders with fellow villains the Joker, the Riddler, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Hugo Strange, and even Calendar man… well, Batman really has his work cut out for him.

Here is the world exclusive snap shot:

Expect more details on Batman: Arkham City at E3 2011 in June.
