For those who game on a budget or need something to hold them over until the next big thing, Steam and Good Old Games have you covered.

Today’s Steam deal is an offering from New York based indie developer, Binary Takeover. Turba is a rhythm based, match 3 block game that utilizes your music collection to generate and move blocks. If you can peel yourself away from Bejeweled long enough, I think you’ll find a real gem here. There’s a demo available if you would like to try before you buy. The game is available for $2.49, which is a savings of 75%.

If you’re an adventure and RPG fan looking for a bit of nostalgia, then look no further. If you hurry, you’ll catch the end of Good Old Games weekend sale offering 7 Activision Treasures for 50% off. The sale ends today, April 2nd at 11:59 EDT. The bundle includes the likes of Return to Zork and Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption. Give them a look, you may find a new favorite old game.

Both offerings can be had by following the respective links below.

I love video games, film, and war stories as told by Veterans. When I'm not scouring the internet soaking up editorials and indie games I can be found watching Star Trek: TNG or Band of Brothers. I enjoy creating fiction and it is my hope to one day write for a studio or become a professional journalist. My musings can be found on Twitter @coreymw.
