Inferno Makes a Return in SoulCalibur 6

Inferno, a boss character from Soul Blade and the original SoulCalibur has been announced as a new playable character for the forthcoming SoulCalibur VI.  With all the quite unsurprising character announcements we’ve had recently, this is one I’m happy with, seeing as Inferno is not a character we’ve seen in some years.  However, due to how overpowered Inferno will be, he will not be playable online.

Possessing the evil power of the Soul Edge, Inferno can use any weapon and mimic any character in the game, with added power and precision, and is one of the series most formidable foes, which is why he can’t be used against online opponents.

You can check out the Inferno character announcement trailer below, along with a batch of screenshots.  SoulCalibur VI will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 19th.
