During a panel at PAX over the weekend, EA and DICE has announced that Anthem’s playable demo will be arriving on February 1st, 2019.  Those that subscribe to EA Access and Origin will get access and PS4 players can play the demo by pre-ordering the game.

BioWare’s Mike Gamble insisted that this is not an alpha or beta by stating that this is not “a tech test or a beta looking for feedback”, but is a “slice of our game.”  As an added bonus, a new gameplay trailer has also been released, which takes an added look at the world that you’ll be interacting with come release.  You can watch that very gameplay video below.

Following the demo, Anthem will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on February 22nd.
