NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released a new “Old School vs. New School” trailer full of awesome music, wise cracking jokes, gruesome gore and punches to the nutsack for Mortal Kombat 11.  In the new gameplay trailer we also get to see Liu Kang, Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs and Kung Lao.

Additionally, Noob Saibot has also been announced as the latest MK11 character, a deadly and evil assassin, a veteran of the series, Noob was originally intended to be the original Sub-Zero, and of course, his name is inspired by lead developer and legend of the series, Ed Boon.

Finally, Shang Tsung was also revealed as the first of six playable characters to be included in the MK11 Kombat Pack, which will be included for Premium and Kollector’s Edition owners (as well as for individual purchase).  You may also recognise this version of Shang Tsung as he is inspired by the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie from Paul W.S Anderson.

Mortal Kombat 11 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on April 23rd.  Also for those that pre-order the game on PS4 and Xbox One, you will be granted access to its beta that starts this week on Wednesday 27th and ends on Monday, April 1st.
