Developer House on Fire, has released the first episode of their episodic adventure game “The Silent Age” on GooglePlay for Android, free of charge. The game was previously available on iOS, and it received many nominations, including the “Nordic Game Award” in the category Best Artistic Achievement in 2013. A second episode is also being planned, and will be crowd-funded.

The game is a minimalistic 2D adventure experience, where players take on the role of an average guy named Joe, who one day has a time machine thrust into his hands by a mysterious, dying man. After that, Joe must literally race against time to prevent a huge disaster that is to befall humanity if he does not act fast. In my opinion, the game’s visual design looks absolutely stunning, and the mechanics seem really simple. To have a look for yourself, check out the trailer below and be sure to get it on Google Play or App Store, as it is free.

I am a guy who loves anything with a powerful storyline, whether it be a game, book or movie, it doesn't matter. Just so long as it hooks me in and keeps my imagination captive till the last word/scene! Also, I am huge Silent Hill fan, so I love all things Silent Hill... and anything horror. Huge horror fanatic!
