Steins;Gate 0 gets release date and trailer

Sequel to the much acclaimed sci-fi visual novel Steins;Gate, which I reviewed here on PushStart, Steins;Gate 0 has been given a date of release as well as new trailer to whet the appetite.

Set after the time travelling events of the first game, main character Okabe is in a bit of a state and no longer pursuing his research. So it’s up to his friends to try to bring him back and bring an end to all the drama caused by their discovery.

New characters and a supposedly dark storyline promise this will not just be an average follow up.

I can’t speak fondly enough of Steins;Gate and its many iterations – anime, game, manga – so I’m so happy this game is happening.

The game’s actual release date for Europe is the 25th of November this year, and for North America the 29th.

Not too far away then, just enough time for those still curious about the game to give it a shot.

I started gaming with the release of the PS1 - Crash Bandicoot and Ridge Racer Revolution being the first 'real' games I ever set eyes on - and have been enthralled with the medium ever since. I particularly love strategy and horror games, the sort offered by titles such as Total War and Silent Hill, though I also have a soft spot for a good RPG. I studied Journalism at university in the hopes of progressing into writing about games. You'll most likely find me covering indie games as I'm always on the look out for interesting little titles, and generally I stick to the PC and PS4 platforms. I'm not interested in MMOs or really any kind of online game, and I have an unusual and frankly worryingly expensive obsession with collecting gaming guide books, but aside from that I like to think I'm a well rounded average gamer.
