Sony has given us the first proper glimpse of the MediEvil remake which is set to release for PlayStation 4 next year.  In the gameplay trailer seen below, we not only see some of the remake in action, but we also get some comparison footage of the original game that released 20 long years ago.

Fans fell in love with the charm of MediEvil and its lovable protagonist Sir Dan, with his demon and ghoul slaying, platform jumping and puzzle solving after he is resurrected 100 years after his demise to finally bring down his arch-nemesis, Lord Zarok.

While we don’t have a set release date as of yet, further details are promised in the near future.  In the meantime, you can check out the gameplay trailer and screenshots below.  MediEvil will release for PS4 sometime next year.
