Ok, so we actually got some proper gameplay footage of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, but I still don’t know what the hell is going on, but yet I love what I saw.

The trailer began with a baby’s butt, before we see the character played by Norman Reedus walking over vast lands, mountains, rocky hills, mossy terrains, through water and more, all to deliver some sort of packages.  The cryptic footage continued to give us more questions then answers and also featured two mysterious ladies (played by Léa Seydoux and Lindsay Wagnerwho look to play a major role in the story.

During the gameplay, we also got to see some stealth, something that Hideo Kojima knows very well, as the Reedus character looked to escape the clutches of the eerie, invisible and floating creatures.  This really was sci-fi horror gaming at its finest.  The gameplay was also running on a PS4 Pro according to Hideo Kojima.

There was still no sign of a release date, but hopefully Dearth Stranding will release next year.
