Timesplitters Creator Joins Team to Help Shape the Series

Back in August last year, it was revealed the THQ Nordic/Deep Silver acquired the rights to the Timesplitters IP and gave a strong indication that remasters of the three original games would one day release by saying ““revered time travelling trilogy is set for [a] return”.

Of course with the expectations with the announcement of any trilogy remaster, fans now hope that a new 4th game in the series will also release, after all, it’s been on the cards since 2007.

Well now, THQ Nordic has announced that Steve Ellis, the creator of the Timesplitters series has joined them to “help plot the future course of this franchise.”  Does this mean that he’ll be lending a helping hand in remastering the trilogy or perhaps he’ll have a direct involvement with the 4th game in the series?  I’m hoping for both, but as always, when we know more, we’ll update you right away.

Are you excited for the future of the Timesplitters series?  Let us know across our social media channels.
