The long-awaited sequel to Techland’s, zombie slaying, parkour running Dying Light 2 is being developed for both current gen and next gen systems, the developers have confirmed.

During an interview with Wccftech, when asked whether Dying Light 2 will be a cross-gen title, chief technology officer at Techland, Pawel Rohleder replied “Techland always has an eye on the latest new toys! To be more specific, yes, the plan since the beginning of production has been to make Dying Light 2 a cross-generation title”.

However, with the PS4 and Xbox Scarlett expected to release late 2020, Dying Light 2 is set for release early that year on current gen.  Which begs the question, will you be buying Dying Light 2 on current gen or next gen systems?  Let us know across our social media channels.
