Days Gone Gets Delayed Again, so Too Is Concrete Genie

Posted October 22, 2018 by Richard Lee Breslin in Gaming News, PS4, Release Date

After suffering multiple delays already, post-apocalyptic and PS4 exclusive from Bend Studio, Days Gone has suffered another delay.  Days Gone was originally set to release late 2018, before being pushed back to February 2019.  However , Days Gone has now been pushed back to April 26th, 2019.  The reason for the delay was to receive the standard “further polish”, but with games such as Resident Evil 2, Anthem, Metro Exodus and The Division 2 all releasing close to one another, it might be a wise move to push Days Gone back a little.

But while I’ve been looking forward to this game and I would much rather a game be delayed instead of releasing unfinished and buggy, with each delay, I’m growing more concerned about the final quality of Days Gone.  Hopefully my worries  are nothing more than concerns and Days Gone might release being a fantastic game.

In addition, the other PS4 exclusive Concrete Genie from Pixelopus has also been pushed back from early 2019 to spring 2019.  Hopefully this will be the last delay for Days Gone and Concrete Genie, and they will benefit from being pushed back.  As always, we’ll update you once we here any developments on both games.
