Rejoice! Yakuza 5 Remastered is Out Now on PS4 and Day One Edition Unboxing

Finally Yakuza 5 Remastered is now available to download on PS4, which means that the entire Yakuza series (other than the spin-off Dead Souls) is available to purchase on the system from the prequel Yakuza 0, to Yakuza Kiwami and Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life.

Each of the three remastered games are available digitally via The Yakuza Remastered Collection and you’ll also be able to pick up a physical copy at retailers, and if you’re lucky enough, you still might be able to nab yourself an awesome Day One Edition (see the unboxing below).  Oh and if you like freebies (and who doesn’t?), there’s a free Dynamic Theme to download via the PSN Store featuring the iconic dragon tattoo of the main man, Kazuma Kiryu.

Each of the remastered games in the collection has been boosted from 720p to 1080p, as well as upping the fps from 30fps to 60fps.  So to celebrate the release of Yakuza 5 Remastered and the completion of The Yakuza Remastered Collection, you can watch the Yakuza 5 Remastered launch trailer below, as well as my unboxing of the Day One Edition.
