A new gameplay trailer for Pokémon Sword and Shield was revealed at last night’s Nintendo Direct.  During the trailer we learned that you’re in-game avatar will be customisable from not only their look, but also outfits and accessories.  This is the most in-depth character customisation feature in this long-running series yet.

It was also revealed that both games will feature what is called Pokémon Camp.  Here you can camp with three other players to build up friendships and improve your Pokémon’s skills.  Additionally, perhaps taking inspiration from Breath of the Wild, you’ll also be able cook up food from 100’s of different recipes.

We also learned of two new Pokémon, Polteageist is yes you’ve guessed it, a Ghost-type Pokémon and finally we have Cramorant, a Flying/Water type Pokémon.  To get an added insight to all of what was revealed, you can check out the new gameplay trailer below.

Both Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield will release for the Nintendo Switch on November 15th.
