Mysterious Video Released That Might Tease Left 4 Dead 3 (Probably Fake)
Update 04/05/19: Valve has confirmed that the video is fake…meh.
Original Story 03/05/19: It’s that time again; it’s time for some good old Left 4 Dead 3 rumours. As with any rumours, especially involving Valve, as they seem to have a phobia with the number three and they like to sit on the Steam money mill, take all of this with a pinch of salt.
However the latest rumours come courtesy of a mysterious video that has appeared on YouTube. The channel in question is ClusterFlu961, which the name alone could relate to a flu epidemic which led to the zombie outbreak of the series. Also quite oddly, the channel only has this one and only video.
The video also has a very long title which doesn’t refer to Left 4 Dead 3 at quick glance; as it looks like a random set of file characters. However, the first eight characters are “20190611” and when you break them up, you can make the date of June 11th, 2019, which would be over E3 and may tease the reveal date. But seeing as this is all speculation, this video might not have anything to do with Valve and could very well be just down to a talented individual that has created a very good CGI video.
You can watch the post-apocalyptic, zombie video below and keep a look out for the very end, when a hand reaches from the ground (a symbol of the series) holding up three fingers before the video ends.
Be sure to let us know your thoughts across our social media channels and we’ll update you either way, when we hear of more news of anything involving a potential Left 4 Dead 3. Personally, I believe it’s fake, but it’s E3 season and we all love to speculate.
