These handheld’s might not mean too much to some, but for children of the 90’s especially, this news will bring a lot of nostalgia feels, because Hasbro are bringing back the Tiger Electronics LCD handheld consoles.

Set to release late this fall, launch titles include Sonic the Hedgehog 3, X-Men Project X, Transformers: Generation 2 and The Little Mermaid and will have an RRP of $14.99 (we have no UK price at the time of writing), and are available to pre-order now via GameStop.

Back in the day, even though I was aware that these systems weren’t the best, they still offered a lot of fun and I always appreciated the art work that came with these systems.   As they were back in the 90’s, these re-released systems will be powered by two AA batteries, though it would have been handy to have featured an updated USB charge.

Are you going to be picking up any of these LCD systems for taste 90’s nostalgia?  A particular favourite of mine was WWF Superstars; share your memories of your favourite classic LCD games across our social media channels.
