Storm in the Teacup is a pioneering Italian game developer, which is at the cusp of releasing its highly anticipated, Close to The Sun. And while the developer in question may not have the scale or budget of the majority of modern AAA, or even AA studios, then it appears that it may not even need it.

Recently released platform comparison of the title showcases how technically excellent the Tesla inspired thriller is going to be. The title in question looks downright incredible, on all modern platforms. And yes, this includes the rather under-powered Nintendo Switch. As the differences between the Switch and all the other, more powerful platforms, are barely noticeable.

Sure, the Switch version has some jaggies, and the special effects are not as impressive, but it looks great regardless, and the above video is impressive in itself. Wired Productions, the publisher of the game, has also unveiled a collectors edition of Close to The Sun.

The edition in question is truly limited, as it will only be released in exactly 1000 units. This will include a pin badge, deluxe hardback art book, and a rather impressive art-deco box. Oh, and let’s not forget about the 7-inch vinyl, and a physical copy of the in-game letter, which stands behind the story.

The collectors edition will run you just $99.97. And will be released alongside the standard editions of the game on 29th of October. Close to The Sun will open its doors to you on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
