While many fans had hoped that The Evil Within 3 would be at the E3 Bethesda conference, after all, iconic developer of said series and the original Resident Evil, Shinji Mikami had teased that he would be in attendance (and he was).

Instead we got an entirely new horror game revealed, which is being developed by Tango Gameworks, with Mikami leading the charge once more.  The game in question is GhostWire: Tokyo and following a number of strange disappearances, it’s up to you to discover the truth and “purge the city”, armed with your supernatural powers to eradicate cults and urban myths.  Not much is known of GhostWire: Tokyo, but I can’t wait to learn more.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the CG announcement trailer below.  Presumably, GhostWire: Tokyo will release in 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
