Assassin’s Creed 3 Remastered Out March, Comparison Trailer Released
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered has been dated by Ubisoft and it will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month. To celebrate its release date announcement, a comparison gameplay video has been released that highlights the improvements made to this new, updated version of the game, and the improvements made are quite the upgrade to say the least.
Better still, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will also be enhanced not only for PC, but also for PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, making full use of their 4K and HDR capabilities. In this remaster, the game will not only be improved with its resolution, but also with new textures, environment enhancements and more, all running on a new graphics engine.
As an added bonus, Assassin’s Creed III Remastered will also include all of its singleplayer DLC (so no multiplayer with this one), such as the Tyranny of King Washington expansion, as well as the Benedict Arnold and Hidden Secrets story missions. Oh and we’ll also be getting Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation on the same day.
Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Liberation Remastered will both be included in the Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey season pass at no extra cost. You’ll also be able to pick both games up as a standalone collection either at retail physically or via digital stores.
Personally for me, despite it not being everyone’s cup of tea, I love ACIII as it sent many of the benchmark features that we now see in today’s instalments and it features one of the best soundtracks in the series too, in my humble opinion, not to mention that Connor is quite badass too!
Below you’ll find the Assassin’s Creed III Remastered comparison trailer, as well as a batch of new screenshots above. Both ACIII Remastered and Liberation Remastered will be available from March 29th.
