A few days ago I was complaining that GRID, for a title which is set to launch within mere months, has been incredibly quiet. And now, not more than a week later, Codemasters has released a minute long trailer, showcasing some of the title’s vehicles, and locations.

From GT Audi’s, through revved-up Pontiac Trans-AM Firebirds, through Chevrolet Camaro SSX Concept, the trailer titled ‘Race for Glory’ has it all, and with the broad and diverse list of vehicles, showed off just within the minute long clip, Codemasters has managed to convince at least me, that GRID will be more than just a basic circuit racer.

When it comes to circuits, GRID is set to feature a plethora of famous tracks from all around the world, such as the streets of San Francisco, the Zhejiang Circuit, streets of Havana, and last but not least the circuit of Brand Hatch. In addition, the trailer also gives us a glimpse of a vague Nascar course, alongside a number of Nascar cars.

GRID is set to launch on 11th of October, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, as well as on Google Stadia – sometime in November of 2019. It can be pre-ordered right now on all physical platforms, and all early adopters, will receive Aston Martin Vantage GT4. However, this pre-order bonus will come as standard with both the Day One Edition, and the Ultimate Edition.

Finally keeps a lookout for our interview with GRID Game Designer Chris Smith, as well as some captured gameplay footage during our time visiting the Codemasters HQ this week.
