Call of Duty: Warzone adds Solo Battle Royale Mode

The free-to-play Call of Duty: Warzone battle royale game initially only included two modes that had to be played in teams of three, though there was an unofficial workaround so that you could jump in solo, against teams of three players.

Well, as of now, Warzone is now playable in a solo mode against 149 other solo players, so you can now jump in with an even playing field.  So in essence, this is kind of like an old-school Free-for-All Call of Duty mode, just with an insane amount of players.  Quite possibly, killstreak tools such as Recon Drones, Heartbeat Monitors and UAV’s have never been more vital then when playing Warzone Han Solo.

With no team members to back you up, Activision has advised solo players to complete Contracts and pile-up in-game cash to purchase Self-Revive Kits from Buy Stations, but if that fails, you will have one chance at the Gulag 1v1 mini-match against another player, with the winner getting thrown back into the battle royale.

Solo mode is available now in Call of Duty: Warzone for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
