Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Registered on Korean Ratings Board
For the last year or so, we’ve heard rumours that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered will release at some point. For example, it’s already been rated by PEGI, however, according to other rumours, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, will be the singleplayer campaign only and will not include the fantastic multiplayer, which is a shame.
Now this recent news has continued to all but confirm Modern Warfare 2 Remastered’s forthcoming existence, as it has now been registered on the North Korean ratings board, as discovered by renowned videogame leaker, Nibel on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the rating in question is for the campaign, which very much confirms that it will not include the multiplayer, as we all suspected. However, with the next game in the series to release this year being Black Ops, it is expected that this will be a reboot for the Black Ops franchise and it is likely that Modern Warfare 2 Remastered might be bundled in with it.
According to The Gaming Revolution, who are known to leak Call of Duty details, they claim this year’s Black Ops reboot to be developed by Treyarch will take us back to the Vietnam and the Cold Wars, and much like the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot, it will be a darker and grittier campaign. It will also see the return of Alex Mason and Frank Woods, but it is expected that they will be played by different voice actors. However, with all rumours and speculation, we must take it all with a pinch of salt at this stage.
