Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale mode known as Blackout is getting a brand new map from today, inspired by Alcatraz, the infamous San Franciscan, maximum Prison Island.  Alcatraz has also been a popular location for the Call of Duty Zombie’s mode throughout the years, and some of those undead prisoners will be making an appearance in the new map.

The Alcatraz Map will not only let you battle it out within the prison complex, but also the whole outside area of the island too.  Offering close quarter combat within its labyrinth corridors, and high vantage points via the prison guard watch towers and more.  You can get a hint as to what’s involved in the Alcatraz map via the new gameplay trailer below.  Alcatraz is available now for PlayStation 4 owners, with the PC and Xbox One release likely to follow about a month from now.

However, that is not all, because from now until April 30th, Black Ops 4’s Blackout mode is free to all on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.  Though you’ll need an active online subscription on either PS4 or Xbox One to play.
