Battlefield 5’s Battle Royale Mode Gets Dated for This Month

We’ve known since last year that Battlefield V will be getting its own battle royale mode and that it will be arriving this March, however, we’ve not known a concrete date, until now.  Courtesy of the trailer below, EA have revealed that the battle royale mode entitled Firestorm will launch on Monday, March 25th.

The trailer (which is not direct gameplay) shows-off squads working together, commandeering vehicles such as boats, helicopters and tractors with cannons!  Yes, you read that right, all while having the pressure of the map closing in with flames.

Firestorm is developed by Criterion and not DICE, it will feature up-to 64 players in one map and will have modes to cater for solo, duos and four-player team squads, and it will come with the destructibility that the series is known for.  Hopefully Firestorm will maintain a health player-base with so much competition in this battle royale genre already.

Are you looking forward to Firestorm?  Let us know across our social media channels and you can also read our review of Battlefield V here.
