FIFA 11’s Ultimate Team Dated
EA Sports today announced that the upcoming free Ultimate Team DLC for FIFA 11 will be accessible for download from the date of November 3rd.
Previous FIFA players who played past iterations of Ultimate Team from both FIFA 09 and FIFA 10 can gain a head start by visiting this website: http://www.ea.com/uk/football/fifa-ultimate-team and proceeding to use the FIFA 11 Ultimate Team web tool, which now has full team functionality – including the use of bidding, selling and the ability to post trades between players.
The good fortune continues for returning players as they will also be rewarded with two gold packs totally free ahead of the forthcoming launch. As an added bonus, from every day they log in from now until the date of November 3rd, they’ll also be granted a free gift. Not too shabby.
New introductions to this year’s FIFA Ultimate Team DLC include the Major League Soccer league and the Russia Premier League along with all their superstars. Not only that but based on recent fan feedback, it’ll also include the feature to ‘Play A Friend’ in online matches and on top of that, the FIFA Ultimate Team Generations with the use of the web tool, which enables players to show off their Ultimate Team heritage to the global FIFA community.
Ultimate Team DLC will be released for free for FIFA 11 on November 3rd, as a treat from EA Sports to it’s fans due to record sales figures on this year’s Football installment.
Until that date, keep your anticipation levels at bay with the following launch trailer.
FIFA 11 Smashes Sales Records, Ultimate Team Will Be Made Free
EA’S latest installment in the Football series FIFA 11 has had an incredible first weekend on sale, shattering sales records, where 2.6 million copies across both Europe and North America have been shifted through October 2nd. As a result, this impressive figure makes it the fastest selling sports title ever, and up 29 percent over it’s predecessor FIFA 10, grossing $150 million already at the retail stage.
Meanwhile, during October 1st and 2nd, EA saw 11.3 million players connecting to play FIFA 11 online. To celebrate the outstanding success of the game, a treat has already been made for the fans to celebrate, which should prove music to FIFA fans worldwide.
FIFA 11’s Ultimate Team will be offered on the Xbox Live Marketplace for free when it releases in November, giving players a new game mode to try, involving them assembling a ideal dream team of players through attaining packs of cards and then taking them on the pitch. In previous installments such as FIFA 10 and FIFA 09, the Ultimate Team DLC pack would have set you back 400 Microsoft Points, but now it won’t cost anything.

FIFA 11 Wii reveals Street Football mode
FIFA 11 is already starting to look fantastic, with the Personality+ and the whole new career mode shaping it up to
become one of the best FIFA yet and also making it clear that EA are stepping up their game. Now Nintendo Wii owners will be able to enjoy another additional mode called ‘Street Football’.
Here’s what the press release has to say about the Wii-exclusive mode:
EA SPORTS announced today that there are now two ways to play FIFA 11 Wii—traditional 11 versus 11 football matches plus a new street football mode. Hit the pitch for a Wii-specific take on customary 11 versus 11 football matches with over 30 officially licensed leagues, 500 teams, more than 15,000 players to choose from. Or, hit the streets to compete in 5 versus 5 street matches with the world’s elite players.
FIFA 11 Wii features numerous gameplay enhancements that bring the beautiful game to life on the Wii console. An all-new attacker vs. defender trick system creates head-to-head battles as you move up the pitch, performing dozens of elaborate new tricks to throw the defender off-balance. The new button-based shooting mechanic puts control back in the users’ hands – and with new shot types and animations you’ll find all-new ways to score each game. Blast, finesse, chip or tap it by the
keeper for the goal that lifts your team to glory!…
