New Metroid : Other M Screenshots And News

You’ll be able to read up a bit more about Metroid : Other M when the next instalment of Nintendo Magazine is released but there has been some new screenshots and details released from the Nintendo Magazine’s website.

The new screenshots show Samus using her new attacks to take out enemies.  She can jump on enemies to perform the powerful Overblast attack, use the 1 Button with precise timing to counter-attack and finish off wounded enemies with a Lethal Strike.

Other new moves include dodging enemy attacks with a well-timed Sensemove and performing a health-restoring Concentration move by holding the Wii Remote vertically and the A Button pressed.

We can also see Samus going into scan mode. By pointing the Remote at the screen you can search a room for hidden objects, access vital information and lock on to enemies for precision attacks.
