Syndicate Demo Incoming
As if we didn’t have enough demos to content ourselves with, the co-op demo for Syndicate, Starbreeze Studios and EA’s latest business warfare simulator, launches on Xbox Live January 31st. With regards to the PlayStation Network, their version drops the same day in North America but will be available in Europe on February 1st. The demo covers the “Western Europe” co-op mission, in which you steal blueprints from Cayman Global and assassinate Colonel Enrico Gabron, one of nine co-op challenges in the full game.
First Resident Evil 6 Official Announcement Information Released
Capcom have just revealed a brand new trailer for Resident Evil 6. Along with the trailer Capcom also released a press release about the title. We also have an official logo and artwork that hasn’t been revealed until now.

It has been ten years since the Raccoon City incident and the President of the United States has decided to reveal the truth behind what took place in the belief that it will curb the current resurgence in bioterrorist activity. Due to be by the President’s side is his personal friend and Raccoon City survivor, Leon S. Kennedy, but when the venue suffers a bioterrorist attack, Leon is forced to face a President transformed beyond recognition and make his hardest ever decision. At the same time, Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member, Chris Redfield arrives in China, itself under threat of a bioterrorist attack. With no country safe from these attacks and the ensuing outbreaks, the entire world’s population is united by a common fear that there is no hope left.
In a first for the franchise, Resident Evil 6 sees series favourites Leon and Chris come together to face this unprecedented threat. They will be joined by new characters, each with their own unique perspective and involvement in this relentless dramatic horror experience enacted on a global scale.

First Resident Evil 6 Trailer is released
The first Resident Evil 6 trailer is upon us, the trailer reveals two main characters known as Leon and Chris. It also appears the location is China due to the writing on the signs. It also appears Ashley the presidents daughter from Resident Evil 4 also makes an appearance. It also seems that if it is Ashley she is now apart of the B.S.A.A group which Chris was a part of in Resident Evil 5. It also appears the leaked posters were legit and the release date points 20.11.2012.
What we have seen in the trailer that it seems you can take control as Leon and Chris. There is not much to say about the trailer other than it looks graphically stunning, so let us know what you think of this amazing trailer.
Resident Evil 6 Logo and Release Date Leaked
With a lot of speculation around Resident Evil 6 (and perhaps a possible reveal later tonight), it appears that we have a first look at the logo. A number of promotional posters and display boxes were sent to GameStop, and later leaked by an employee to IGN. As you can see, the title will be releasing for the Xbox 360 and PS3 around 20th November 2012.
A Resident Evil 6 reveal trailer is expected to air tonight at 10pm GMT on a viral site nohopeleft.com.

Max Payne Pre-Order Goodness
Good news for Max Payne fans, the deadline for pre-ordering the Max Payne 3 Special Edition will be extended to April 2nd. What’s so special about the Special Edition you ask? Well if you decide to pre-order before April 2nd you could get your hands on, not only a copy of the game but also, the “Disorderly Conduct” Multiplayer Weapons Pack, some Original Still Life Art Prints, a Classic Multiplayer Character Pack, a Bullet Keychain, an Official Soundtrack and, last but most definitely not least, a Max Payne 10” Statue. If you didn’t already have a good enough reason to buy Max Payne, now you do!
Capcom Reveals 6 New Street Fighter X Tekken Characters
Capcom today announced that Street Fighter X Tekken will have 6 more characters. The new six characters introduce from the Street Fighter corner… Balrog, Juri and Vega have now been confirmed and from the Tekken side… Paul, Law and Xiaoyu will be playable in the game. The game will be available for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Europe on March 9, 2012 and North America on March 6, 2012.
Fenix Rising Rises Today
Today, Microsoft and Epic released “Fenix Rising,” the third major game add-on for Gears of War 3. Featuring five brand new multiplayer maps as well as four character skins and a new experience system that allows players to rank up through level 100 four times to unlock exclusive emblems and weapon skins, a bit like Call of Duty’s Prestige Mode.
If you decide to buy the DLC on Xbox LIVE for 800 Microsoft Points or you’re a Season Pass owner, players who attain level 100 will have a choice to “Re-up” for another tour of duty to showcase their valour and dedication as elite Gears of War fan. Their experience and rank will be reset, but all other progression (including TrueSkill rating) will remain intact. Players can “Re-up” up to three times, earning new wings colours each time: Red, Green, and Gold. The rank number will also be coloured Red, Green, or Blue. Each “Re-up” level also awards the player an exclusive, custom weapon skin that cannot be obtained by any other means.
As you know, “Fenix Rising” expands the multiplayer battlefield with five new maps – Academy, Anvil, Depths, Escalation, and the Slab – that will be available for Versus Multiplayer, Horde and Beast Mode. Additionally, players who purchase “Fenix Rising” will gain access to four new character skins (Recruit Clayton, Thrashball Cole – Limited Edition, Savage Marauder and Savage Kantus – Limited Edition) for use in Versus Multiplayer and Horde Mode.
Ryder White DLC coming soon for Dead Island
Today, Deep Silver announced some brand new DLC for their zombie infected game Dead Island. The DLC in question offers a unique perspective of Dead Island’s main story as this time the player will get the chance to play as Ryder White, the antagonist of the main game. Players will get the opportunity to learn more about his motivations and why, from his point of view, he did what he had to do.
The DLC stars Ryder White as a newly playable character and offers a single player campaign with several hours of story content with twists and turns that will shed new light on the game’s happenings. There will also be two brand new blueprints and weapons that will further expand the already impressive arsenal of Dead Island.
The DLC will be available on February 1st, 2012 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. If the prospect of returning to Banoi is pleasing it will only set you back 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace or for £7.99 on PSN and Steam.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day early with Catherine
Deep Silver have announced that those who pre-order Catherine will recieve some nice extra goodies.
Catherine is set to be released on February 10th and if you’ve pre-orderd before then you’ll get an exclusive artbook and a soundtrack CD. The artwork will not be available anywhere else (until someone makes scans of the exclusive artbook) and the same goes for the music found on the soundtrack CD (until again someone rips the CD and posts it to be downloaded).
The pre-order bonus will only be available through a “special retail partner” that Deep Silver have chosen. For the UK I would say it will most likely be GAME who will carry the pre-order bonus.
Catherine will be released in Europe on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 10th, 2012.
