Next week’s DLC Pack comes in the form of Iron Maiden. There are six tracks next week, in the pack named ‘Maiden Epics’.

The tracks that we will be seeing next week are the following: –

“Phantom of the Opera”
“The Prisoner”
“The Flight of Icarus”
“Rime of the Ancient Mariner”
“Infinite Dreams”
“Seventh Son of a Seventh Son”

This is set to become a really epic pack, as it is up to you to take on Metal’s greatest band!

EA have  unveiled five game-changing innovations that will bring revolutionary changes to FIFA 13 along with the largest and deepest feature set in the history of the franchise.

One of the most noticeable changes in FIFA 13 on consoles and PC is the all-new Attacking Intelligence. This new feature will enable players to analyse space, work harder and smarter to break down defenses, and think two plays ahead. Players now possess the intelligence to create, curve, or alter runs to capitalize on openings as they occur, make runs that pull defenders out of position to open passing channels for teammates, and better position themselves for new attacking opportunities. Along with this feature a new dribbling system has been inplaced. Inspired by the world’s best footballer, Lionel Messi.

Complete Dribbling will allow players dribble touches react realistic, giving players  true 360° mobility with the ball, so it’s easier to be more creative and dangerous in 1v1 opportunities. Players can also change direction quicker, are more explosive accelerating with the ball, and are more effective shielding defenders for longer stretches. FIFA 13 1st Touch Control transforms the way players control the ball, eliminating near-perfect touch for every player on the pitch, and creating variety and uncertainty around ball control. Factors such as defensive pressure, trajectory of the ball, and velocity of the pass now impact a player’s first touch, creating more opportunities for defenders to win back possession.

The second generation of the Player Impact Engine expands physical play from just collisions to off-the-ball battles between players. Defenders push and pull for position, and use their size and strength to win possession or force opponents into poor touches and decisions before the ball arrives. FIFA 13 Tactical Free Kicks provides the tools to create dangerous and unpredictable free kicks utilising the most skillful players on the pitch. Position up to three attacking players over the ball and utilise dummy runs and more passing options to create elaborate free kicks. Opponents can counter by adding or subtracting players to the wall, creeping the wall forward, or sending a bullet man to intercept the pass or block the shot.

FIFA 13 will also feature:
·         Improved Career Mode with major changes developed in response to requests from the most passionate fans of the franchise.
·         New features to enhance the massive EA SPORTS FIFA online offering, including improvements to the wildly popular Head-To-Head Seasons mode
·         Multiple new features and benefits to EA SPORTS Football Club, the live service that is the heartbeat of FIFA
·         Complete authenticity with more than 500 officially licensed clubs.
Additional new modes and features will be announced in the months ahead.

FIFA 13 will be available in stores world-wide this fall for the PS3 with move support, Xbox 360 with Kinect support, PC, Playstation Vita, Wii, PS2, Nintendo 3Ds, PSP,  and all iOS devices.

Back in late January we posted about the rumour that Lego Lord of the Rings may be in the works.

Well…

MCV, a UK Trade Publication, announced that Warner Bros. will be releasing Lego Lord of the Rings at some time this year. This all sparked when they released an image of packaging for the Lego Lord of the Rings sets online.

It is expected that this game will be announced at E3, which is now not so far off. It’s something that we could have seen coming from a mile away, with the Harry Potter series having its own Lego make over. These two have fans have battled it out over who is the best and what the best book series is for a while!

This should give a nice spin on the Lord of the Rings Universe and who knows, maybe the Hobbit will get its chance to be LEGO!

May 5^th – 12^th

Previously before the year was out, Paramore had their single ‘Pressure’ released for Rock Band 3 amongst other artists on their label. Prior to that they have had ‘That’s What You Get’, ‘Crushcrushcrush’ and ‘Misery Business’ on the series. Now with their first track pack, Paramore are back and ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll!

“Ignorance”, “Brick by Boring Brick” and “The Only Exception” are the tracks being released on the next pack and they are surely ones to be looking out for!

May 28th – 5th

The band that beat Simon Cowell to the christmas number one a few years ago are returning to Rock Band 3 with the song that pushed them to no.1 as well as two other tracks!

“Bomb Track,” “Killing in the Name Of…” and “Sleep Now In the Fire” are the three tracks to get excited about. While Rage Against The Machine have already featured in Rock Band, it’s nice to get some of their other classics to play.
