“!” MGS Rising to Appear at the Spike VGA’s
Its been quite some time since we heard anything about Metal Gear Solid Rising, far too long in fact, but that’s soon set to change at the 2011 Spike Video Game Awards. Apparently Hideo Kojima himself is going to be on hand to tell us “the truth” about one my most anticipated games, and should help alleviate the wait for an EU release of the MGS HD collection.
I like to watch the VGA’s each year, not for the awards themselves, but because it seems to have become the place to reveal new games and trailers, and this year is looking to be special indeed as we have Alan Wake, MGS and a new Bioware title all to look forward too, although its going to take something big to outdo last years trailers for Uncharted 3, Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim.
Now I just need to acquire a passport and entry to the VGA’s in order to meet Kojima, then I can die happy.
Relive Past Memories With “Previously on Assassin’s Creed”
[WARNING - Video contains spoilers for all previous AC games, obviously]
It’s probably been quite some time since players relived the early memories of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, and even longer since those involving Altaïr Ibn-La’Ahad, so it’s not of the question that people might get lost in the plot of Assassin’s Creed Revelations, due out this week.
However, the fact that these genetic memories are, well, memories, they can easily be recalled at any time using an Animus. Or in our time before science slips into the realm of magic- the internet. Ubisoft has released a “Previously on Assassin’s Creed” catch up video detailing all the major plot points of the series so far, setting up the story in Revelations.
Personally I can not wait to strap on the hidden blades of assassins past and try to make sense of 2012′s coming cataclysm
New Super Mario 3D Land Launch Trailer
When it comes to Nintendo, you can expect the moustached hero to be the mascot of any system they bring out. Nearly thirty years on, and he still captivates us with magnificent gameplay, fun multiplayer and all round general epicness.
Here we have the launch trailer for the new Super Mario 3D Land, which just as Ocarina Of Time Was earlier this year, is looking fantastic.
As we can see from this trailer, it look like a lot of fun! Luigi even pops up as well, which looking at Nintendo’s current game lineup, isn’t surprising! It’ always fun to have the younger moustached brother to mix up the gameplay!
This is a game to look out for portable fans!
Super Mario 3D Land will be released on the 18th November 2011 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 – The Vet & The n00b Official Trailer
Another new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 trailer has been released. This time staring Sam Worthington, Jonah Hill and Dwight Howard. I may be a bit stupid in thinking but… I think Activision is trolling its own game by making it look ridiculous, with this trailer. This trailer literally explains what Call Of Duty is all about… Having fun and not taking it to seriously.
Goldeneye Reloaded Launch Trailer
With Battlefield 3 having just launched and Modern Warfare 3 visible on the horizon most peoples attention is not going to be on Activision’s other FPS this month.
Goldeneye Reloaded, a version of last years Goldeneye Wii game built for HD consoles, is about to hit store shelves this week, and will no doubt be unfortunatly overlooked once again. I played it on the Wii and thoroughly enjoyed the game, although all throughout I was thinking “gee, I sure wish this was on the xbox or PS3″, then lo and behold it is!
If your a fan of shooters but would prefer a tale of espionage over world war, and would prefer to play the stealthy spy rather than trigger happy soldier then Goldeneye may very well be the game your looking for this season.
Sexy New Trailer for Skyward Sword!
With the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword just around the corner, Nintendo have given their trusty fans an exclusive trailer which gives off more story little by little, but making sure that they do not give anything away.
I can safely say that this game look epicly amazing and with the recent score of ’98%’ from ONM, this is to be a highly anticipated game!
What do you make of this trailer? Any guesses to what is happening? Who knows, we’ll just have to wait and see
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is released on the Wii on November 18

Hitman: Absolution – Gameplay Teaser
It may be less than a minute long, but good things come in small packages, as evident in this gameplay teaser of Agent 47’s upcoming adventure.
Courtesy of IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier 2 game engine, the game just oozes dark beauty, as you watch the glimmer of shattered glass, flickering lights, deep shadows, and intense flashes of rain and thunder. This gorgeous new game engine, combined it with the original Hitman game mechanics with brand new mechanics, fans can rejoice as Absolution sets to be one of the best titles in the series.
Hitman: Absolution will be released sometime in 2012.
COD: Modern Warfare 3 – Redemption Trailer
