Aliens: Colonial Marines ‘Contact’ Trailer sets the mood
Games are coming ever closer to achieving visually and emotionally what cinema has provided us over the years, with developers now using pre-rendered trailers to convey the mood they are aiming to provide with their latest and greatest. While you may have your opinions on gameplay vs. cinematic trailers, you can’t deny that they don’t get you excited.
Dead Island impressed everyone last year with the slow moving emotional story told in reverse, and now it looks like Gearbox wants some of the limelight with their latest Aliens: Colonial Marines ’Contact’ Trailer. Set to a fantastic track from the Moon soundtrack, follow the trail of the acidic alien blood as it moves from floor to floor, each providing you an idea of the various moods and gameplay scenarios that you will be encountering later this year in up to four player co-op.
Recently pushed from its March release, Aliens: Colonial Marines is currently aiming for a summer release for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, with a WiiU version reportedly in the works.

The first Resident Evil 6 trailer is upon us, the trailer reveals two main characters known as Leon and Chris. It also appears the location is China due to the writing on the signs. It also appears Ashley the presidents daughter from Resident Evil 4 also makes an appearance. It also seems that if it is Ashley she is now apart of the B.S.A.A group which Chris was a part of in Resident Evil 5. It also appears the leaked posters were legit and the release date points 20.11.2012.
What we have seen in the trailer that it seems you can take control as Leon and Chris. There is not much to say about the trailer other than it looks graphically stunning, so let us know what you think of this amazing trailer.
Rumour: Possible Resident Evil 6 Reveal Tonight
IGN have just posted about a mysterious viral website that could be hinting at the next game in the Resident Evil series. A blog containing several photos and videos is available at nohopeleft.com, featuring graffiti scrawled on various dilapidated walls and billboards.
IGN have done their research and have looked into the site’s Whois registration data, yielding no direct link to Capcom, but sleuths on the NeoGAF forums have dug up an interesting connection. Searching for the site’s Whois data on GoDaddy reveals that it’s registered by “Identity Protection Service” in Surrey, United Kingdom.
Along with no actual confirmation that this could be relating to a new Resident Evil game, we are still unsure what the announcement will reveal. It could even be a completely new title from Capcom.
With a lot of dates pointing to today, it could be possible later we get a better understanding of what this website will reveal. Fingers crossed for Resident Evil 6.
Update: The website “thesixthaxis.com” has reported that the billboard company ‘Primesight’ who are behind the billboard have confirmed that Capcom requested the billboard.
“After a lengthy chat I had to send them a picture of the advert via email and whilst waiting for the reply we asked Capcom if they were in anyway linked to the No Hope Left adverts. I’ll give you one guess what they said.
Capcom doesn’t comment on any rumours or speculation.
Well we tried. We did. We asked Capcom. We did, they didn’t know but Primesight are seemingly a lot more helpful as they have just sent me an email.
Panel number is 2375 03 Parry Street. The company advertising on it is CAPCOM.”

Resident Evil seems to be taking over 2012, with the 3DS Revelations title releasing on January 27th in the UK and shortly after Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on the 23rd of March. G4 have just released an exclusive first trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution film which was debuted during an episode of Attack of the Show. You will notice whilst watching the trailer that there is a whole lot of product placement for Sony’s products. After watching the trailer I noticed what appears to be Ada Wong from Resident Evil 4 near the end. Not only that a rumoured reveal of Resident Evil 6 is supposedly happening tonight.
The film is expected to release this fall.
Rumour: Megaman and Pacman possibly coming to Street Fighter X Tekken PS Vita
It seems Capcom have just made a subtle announcement for the PSVita version of Street Fighter X Tekken.

After the title image for Street Fighter X Tekken appears after the trailer, another short trailer for the PS Vita version is shown. During this short trailer you see two characters who have been blacked out. These two characters look very similar to Megaman and Pacman… Don’t believe me, watch it for yourself. Skip to around 3.00 minutes for the bonus trailer.

Latest The Secret World trailer exposes the Illuminati
EA have released a new trailer for The Secret World that reveals details about the Illuminati organisation. The trailer shows how they think and how they operate; “they play hard and they work hard.”
The Secret World has quietly been getting hype as an interesting MMO. At the very least the story overall seems to be more in-depth then your usual MMO. The trailer below gives us a look at the Illuminati, an organization that seems to be more chaotic then sinister (though that’s not to say they lack the latter) and see themselves as the big dogs of The Secret World universe. Also for those who consider themselves connoisseurs of alcohol, there’s a handy recipe at the end of the trailer.

Sega wants you to see Binary Domain as ‘Bigger than you Think’
Sega have released a new trailer for their sci-fi action game Binary Domain with the title being ‘Bigger than you Think’ in where viewers will see cut-scenes and gameplay footage.
During the two-minute trailer, we see mostly story elements that seem to showcase Binary Domain as more then just about shooting androids and saving the world from a crisis. Instead Sega promises to deliver more then that with a in-depth look at the actions and consequences of the humans and androids.
That’s not to say that the shooting itself will be overshadowed by the story, and Sega do give us a short look at how the gunfighting will do down. So far it looks good but a gameplay video will give us a clearer indication of what to expect.
Check out the trailer below. Binary Domain’s release dates are: EU 24th February, USA on the 28th February and Australia on the 23rd February.
