CLASSIC GAMING EXPO Announces Dates
Sadly the UK staff of Push-Start won’t be able to make the Classic Gaming Expo this year since its being held in Vegas.
CGE Services Corporation has announced that the 2010 Classic Gaming Expo will rock Tropicana Las Vegas on the weekend of July 31 and August 1, 2010.
It is the 12th year that the event has taken place. The Classic Gaming Expo showcases all the old video games players grew up, also with all the concept art designs for the fans so they can see all the creations such as sketches, level designs, unreleased games etc. Over the past few years there has been a few special guests at the event including Ralph Baer (The god of home video games) and Nolan Bushnell (Co founder of Atari Inc). There are also other creators there such as Al Alcorn (Pong), David Crane (Pitfall!) and Rob Fulop (Demon Attack).
If you love your retro gaming and want to fly out to the event in Vegas then here is the official link for the EXPO. Also don’t forget it won’t be just game sound you will be hearing, there will also be screaming fans getting autographs.

Guess People Just Love The Podcast!
So many people logged on to the site yesterday to listen to our beautiful voices on air… Well Christian did anyway…
We had a bandwidth of 100 Listeners who would be able to listen the podcast and it smashed this limit yesterday and now the player is out of use… and there’s us thinking the podcast wouldn’t be a big hit! We obviously stand corrected!

Eurogamer Expo Is To Be Held At Earl’s Court This Year
Good news everyone, the Eurogamer expo is to be held at Earl’s court this year.
The expo will be held on the 1st-3rd October 2010.
But there is some bad news it seems as the Leeds event has been canned this year.

Epic Games Hints At A New Game For E3
Epic’s president Mike Capps has been making some sweet little comments about a new game that will be arriving at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo(E3). But the emphasis is on NEW, as in a possible new franchise. There’s nothing wrong with Gears of War or the Unreal Tournament series, but it would be nice to see them develop something fresh. And yes, I know they have to complete the epic(no pun intended) Gears of War story and there’s no doubt in my mind that most of their time is dedicated to completing the trilogy but if Lionhead made nothing but “Fable†games, you’d want something new eventually.
The real brain tickler is, what could it be?! Could it be the mysterious “Shooter from Epic†that scheduled for release in 2011 on EA’s launch list. Or maybe it’s just him hyping up Gears 3? Who knows.
Needless to say, Epic fans and myself are still excited about this announcement and we’ll all be happy either way.
