The world is going Pokemon mad lately!

With Pokemon Black and White 2 bringing fans to the Unova region, after the first pair is set, players will immediately notice that the Unova region has been frozen and that game has rapidly changed. Embark on a new adventure starting in the new city, Aspertia City, and discover the strange occurrences around Unova after Team Plasma’s defeat!

With the two new legendaries, Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, also making their appearance’s, they are packed with new and devastating Ice signature moves; Black Kyurem with Freeze Shock and White Kyurem with Ice Burn. Black Kyurem is available exclusively to Pokemon Black Version 2 while White Kyurem is available exclusively to Pokemon White Version 2. The game can also be played on the 3DS system, with a really great and new experience!

We can all look forward to this as it will help broaden our experience with the Pokemon game on the 3DS.

The Pokemon Dream Radar lets players use several different features from the Nintendo 3DS, including the 3DS camera, motion control, and augmented reality technology, which allows users to catch Pokemon whiles moving the 3DS system to discover hidden Pokemon. You shoot the Pokemon with beams, which allows you to then capture them. Those that are then caught can be transferred into Black and White 2, helping players build their roster of Pokemon. The Pokemon Dream Radar also includes hard to get Pokemon, giving you the chance to capture them for your game. The Dream Radar will be available for purchase via download from the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo 3DS.

As mentioned before in another post (here), the Pokedex 3D Pro will also be available at some point during summer/autumn, and allows you to see up to all 600 available Pokemon that have been released so far. This will also include Black and White Kyurem!

Pokemon Black and White 2 is released this autumn.

Back in late January we posted about the rumour that Lego Lord of the Rings may be in the works.

Well…

MCV, a UK Trade Publication, announced that Warner Bros. will be releasing Lego Lord of the Rings at some time this year. This all sparked when they released an image of packaging for the Lego Lord of the Rings sets online.

It is expected that this game will be announced at E3, which is now not so far off. It’s something that we could have seen coming from a mile away, with the Harry Potter series having its own Lego make over. These two have fans have battled it out over who is the best and what the best book series is for a while!

This should give a nice spin on the Lord of the Rings Universe and who knows, maybe the Hobbit will get its chance to be LEGO!

Recently revealed yesterday, you are able to battle against old trainers from previous games, such as Giovanni, Brock, Misty etc. There is also a new place called Pokewood that you can visit!

Apparently you are able to download old trainers via the Wi-Fi Connection, which sounds rather nifty! These trainers come all the way from the early games and run all the way through to Diamond and Pearl and will appear in the Pokemon World Tournament. You do not have to just battle them with single play, you can also have double battles with them (two Pokemon against two!)

The release date for Pokemon Black and White 2 is June 23rd for Japan, whilst the UK release date follows in Autumn.

We all know that this will be a game where you will either love it or hate it. I have found the change in Pokemon games to be very interesting. I take my step towards the new region and pokemon with caution and try to pick out the enjoyable bits as well as its faults.

With this new trailer we can see how Unova has changed after the events from the first Black and White games. Unova is frozen, and we also see the protagonist in action as they go around the city and region itself.

We also get to see Pokemon in action as well as the new Black and White Kyurems.

Pokemon Black and White 2 is to be released later this year.
