Just gonna leave my number 1… It’s a spin off from the Donkey Kong Arcade game, in which Jump Man (now called Mario) saves a princess from a giant lizard called Bowser, instead of the great ape. Interestingly enough, this spin off spawned it’s own series, it’s called the “Mario” series and Jump Man has adopted the name Mario for himself too.

Jump Man even introduces his brother Wimp Man, who prefers to be known as “Luigi” for some silly reason.
