Video Unboxing: Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Collector’s Edition

Now Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Collector’s Edition has come under some scrutiny due to the Infinity Stones not looking how they were in the promotional material (although it does state in the small print that it’s subject to change).  I agree I do prefer how they looked in the promotional material over what was received, but in saying that, there are many different versions of the Infinity Stones in many of the Marvel comics, some of which look like those in this Collector’s Edition.

However, many of the images that I’ve seen criticising the look of the stones (and rightly so if you’ve bought something and are not happy with the purchase) are shown with the LED lights off, but when switched on, they have a glittery effect on the inside of the stones that does not show when switched off.  Also, I can say that after playing the game, the stones in this Collector’s Edition are the same design as in the game, so they are a true representative in that respect.

In my opinion, as stated while I prefer how they looked in the promotional material, I still like them and while my video below doesn’t quite do them justice, the four figurines are fantastic.  You can watch my unboxing and let us know what you think.  In the coming weeks we’ll have a review of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
