Ubisoft have revealed something interesting in a recent letter to GameStop regarding Assassin’s Creed III. The letter discusses the possibility of post-lauch DLC which will be purchasable via a season pass, possibly available via pre-order.
Kotaku reports that the letter states – “What’s next? We are currently in the process of creating a complementary development team that will begin working on post-launch episodic content to continue the Game of the Year experience that Assassin’s Creed III will undoubtedly deliver,” reads the letter.
“We know you’re familiar with the ‘Season Pass’ concept and, beginning shortly, we’ll start to take pre-orders of our very own.”
Even though the letter is addressed to GamesStop, it is hard to tell if this will actually will happen. What do you guys think? Would you like Assassin’s Creed III to have a season pass and post-launch DLC? Let us know in the comments below.
