Head yesterday on Major Nelson’s podcast, the price of the Modern Warfare 2 “Stimulus Package” was announced.

It’s priced at a 1200 Microsoft points which is 15 US dollars. Now, If I were getting about 7 new maps and a few from their previous installment, Call of Duty 4, then fine. That’s a great deal! But We’re getting a total of 5 maps, 3 new and 2 from COD4 which have said to be “copy and pasted.” Most map packs that come out are 10 dollars but 15 seems a bit much especially with all the problems  (see bottom of list) that we’ve had with Modern Warfare already. They should of made it free. But yeah they’re coming out soon and the list of the maps and descriptions about them can be found here.

Damn Microsoft/Infinity Ward/Anyone else involved in the gaming industry for daring to charge me MONEY for games! Funny how no one complains about Halo 3 and how If you choose not to purchase their map packs online play is restricted an insane amount. Wouldnt it just be more fun to have a couple of mates and a few beers rather than fat americans?

If you want games that cost 50+ million dollars to make you have to live with this im afraid. there was more money to be made 10 years ago then there is now.
