Halo Wars 2 to get PC physical release at retail

THQ Nordic has announced a publishing partnership with Microsoft Studios to bring a physical release of Halo Wars 2 at retail on PC.  The retail release will still also grant you access to play the game digitally on Xbox One via the Xbox One/Windows 10 Play Anywhere feature.


You will be able to purchase both the Standard Edition and the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 physical editions which includes the Season Pass and Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.


Halo Wars 2 will release for PC and Xbox One on February 21st for those that purchase the Standard Edition or the 17th for those that pick up the Ultimate Edition.
