Going almost somewhat unnoticed, Bandai Namco finally announced a release date for SoulCalibur 6 and with it came a story trailer.  It’s quite odd that the release date has taken so long to arrive, as we’ve already seen loads of gameplay for the title, but at least it’s now here.  Once again the series will have our favourite heroes and villains fight over the “legendary sword and devourer of souls”, the Soul Edge.

However, not only did we get a story trailer and a release date, but a Collector’s Edition was also announced which comes with a copy of the game, the season pass, digital soundtrack and a 35cm tall figurine of Sophitia.

You can check out the new trailer and screenshot’s below, as well as the Collector’s Edition above.  SoulCalibur 6 will release for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 19th 2018.
