Vampyr is one of the more interesting looking open world games coming out this year. Due out in November on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC you play as doctor, turned vampire, Jonathan Reid and face an internal battle with yourself. As a doctor you pledged to find a cure for the flu sweeping the city of London. As a vampire you need to feed.

The “interesting” part of the game is the promise that the characters will all share a connection with one another. Choosing to kill one may create a domino effect on an entire family or community. There will be an XP boost for taking the life of those you swore to protect, but it could lead to the destruction of the city you love. You will have to make these choices as you play through the game and choose your victims carefully. The E3 trailer can be seen below.

I like video games. That's why I write about them. I've played them for years and in that time I've found a love for creepy horrors, indie darlings and the oddities that come out of Japan. Although my main purpose on the site is to write up news and reviews I'm also one of the main Let's Play video creators of the team (or, as I call them, Brett's Play videos).
