Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Launch

Warner Bros and TT Games have announced that LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is now available in the UK on an array of consoles such as Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC. It will also be available for Nintendo DS, 3DS and PlayStation Vita on June 22nd.


The highly anticipated LEGO  Batman 2: DC Super Heroes is the must-have sequel to the best-selling LEGO Batman: The Videogame, which has sold over 11 million units worldwide.   In LEGO  Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, gamers of all ages can team up with Batman and Robin as well as your favorite DC Comics super heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash in a high-flying KERPOW! filled adventure

“Fans of all ages are in for a real comical treat with LEGO  Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, as the game brings iconic DC Comics characters to life in a brand new story set in a massive open-world Gotham City,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games.  “The game delivers a fun-filled LEGO adventure never seen before with talking LEGO minifigures and unique elements such as flying through Gotham City as Superman.”

As players take on the role of Dark Knight, Boy Wonder and other DC super heroes, they must unite to thwart the plans of infamous baddies Lex Luthor and The Joker in their diabolical quest for destruction and mayhem.  Players are in control of exciting new super abilities such as heat vision, freeze-breath and free-roaming flight, which they can use to explore a vast new Gotham City full of hidden secrets, collectible LEGO bricks and vehicles to drive and fly around in.  Console versions feature easy drop-in/drop-out co-op with dynamic split screen, giving everyone a simple gateway into the adventure. The handheld versions include a Justice League Alliance game mode, a set of battle challenges which pits the entire Justice League against the most evil villains in the DC Universe.
