Do I really need to say anything else? It’s Mario and Sonic in a personal best of list doing what their best at. Once again, these are the games that have had the biggest impact on me, only platformers, and no collections. So instead of asking where “so and so” is you can leave a comment about your favorite Mario and Sonic platformers. Enjoy.

Ah, I know you said not to do this, but where is Super Mario Bros.? It’s the classic. It’s also my favorite Mario game. It’s not just my favorite baecause it’s the classic though. I played it after I played galaxy 1, new super mario bros, and a few others, and it’s still my favorite. I bought an NES just for Super Mario Bros.

Super Mario Bros 1 is a classic, I grew up with it, and is one of the main reasons why video games still exist.Having said that I would probably put it as 7th or 8th place.

Let’s see, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Unleashed and Sonic Colo(u)rs. Those are the only ones I’ve played from the Sonic series.

Yeah Sunshine sucked, the worst part about it for me is how it does it’s best to get you hooked on using that F.L.U.D.D. thing, then it turns the game back into a Mario title by taking it away. Just as you become dependant on the stupid machine.

    Mario (Not just Platformers)

10: Mario Party- The sense of pain and fustration, getting screwed over by Bowser, boo, friends, etc.
9:Mario Kart 64- My favorite Mario Kart game, because it felt of the coures, and items were fun, but I think you needed the most skill in 64. That and the original Mario Kart.
8:Super Mario Land- Mario on Gamboy, 2d shooter stages.
7:New Super Mario Bros Wii- 4 player co-op in a mario platformer.
6:Super Mario Galaxy 2- Better controls, level design, and efort than the first Galaxy.
5:New Super Mario Bros.- It may be short, but the level design is better then in NSMBW
4:Super Mario World- Yoshi, great music, a bit more MARIO.
3/2:Super Mario Bros.3 (Can’t decide which one to put above the other) GREAT POWER UPS.
3/2:Super Mario 64 (Can’t decide which one to put above the other) 3d Mario.
1:Super Mario Bros. The classic, the one I think has the best level design, indroduced power ups. Very challenging compared to todays Mario games. Fantastic Music. Great graphics. FUN. Simple but challenging. I coundn’t beat it the first time, but I kept playing and after two years of practice I beat the game.

Sonic (These are the only good Sonic games I played, the bad ones being Shadow The HedgeHog, Sonic 2 master system)

3: Sonic The Hedgehog- Good Platforming but not very fast.
2:Sonic Colors- Good 3d Sonic game.
1: Sonic The Hedgehog 2- Fastest Sonic Game
