Pokemon Tops Charts

The latest Pokemon releases have secured the top two spots in the UK gaming charts. Despite the incoming 3DS, demand for Black and White has seen them outsell some of the major releases of early 2011 and shows that the DS remains hugely popular.

Fight Night Champion, landing at number 3, failed to go toe-to-toe with Game Freak’s series, which appears to show no signs of losing popularity, despite it’s age. Each new release seems to find a new market, and the re-release of Gold and Silver drew fans back to the games.

Bulletstorm, number 2 last week, was at 4, while last week’s number one – Killzone 3 -  was at 5.
