Fortified Zone headlines 3DS eShop Update on 7th July!

Two more Virtual Console titles heading to the EU 3DS eShop this week (when are we next going to see some 3DS Ware, Nintendo?!) with top-down action shooter Fortified Zone leading the way with the classic QIX following closely behind.

Fortified Zone is sort of like Metal Gear (NES) and Zelda mixed together (after watching some footage, I have never played the game myself!) where you scroll between screens (much like Zelda dungeons) with your guns blazing at any enemies you come across (no sneaking around like Metal Gear!) and certainly looks like a lot of fun. Game will be released at the price of £2.70.

QIX is a game a lot of people might’ve seen clones of. The aim of the game is to draw lines and create shapes to take up as much space on the screen possible. Sounds easy enough, but throw some enemies into the mix and it will no doubt cause some trouble for ya! Game has also been priced at £2.70.

For those looking for some new DSiWare titles, you’ll be happy to know that two will be launched this coming Thursday! Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp (€8/800 Nintendo DSi Points) and Puzzle Fever (€5/500 Nintendo DSi Points)!
