Avatar Motocross Madness Screenshots Revealed Ahead Of E3 2012

After reporting back in April that a trademark had been registered for Avatar Motorcross Madness, it seemed fair that we’d have to wait until E3 2012 to hear anything more about the title apart from the name. We’ve got a little more to look at now however, as today PlayXBLA revealed two ‘secret squirrel’ screenshots of a mystery game.

Asking commentors on the site to guess as to what the game might be, it’s hardly intense invesigatory work as the file names for the image include the letters ‘AMX’. The two screenshots show off some nice looking environments, though it’s hard to tell much about the gameplay from them. One screenshot takes a 2D perspective similar to Trials, though I’d hope the game would offer a fully 3D gaming space to explore with friends, and the first image seems to reassure me of that. There’s a lot of potential here, and this may be pure speculation, but the thought of heading online into large open racing and stunt arenas with friends sure sounds like a lot of fun….now all we need is for them to revive the other Madness series that has long been dormant.

Expect more details during Microsoft’s Press Conference at this year’s E3, 9am PST, 6pm GMT. You’ll be able to catch the live streams directly on Push-Start, as well as hear all the big announcements by following us on Twitter @PushStartMedia.
