New Russian Poster Shows Rock of Ages Line-Up

A new Russian poster for the upcoming film adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Rock of Ages has been released, Empire reports. The poster – available larger if one clicks on the image above – gives a sneak peek of each of the movie’s ensemble cast, giving the audience a sample of what to expect in the film. The film will feature the music of rock legends like Twisted Sister, Journey, Poison, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and Guns N’ Roses. It follows a love story between a waitress and bus boy who dream of glamorous careers during the 1980s glam rock era.

The film stars Julianne Hough as Sherrie Christian – a wannabe actress, Diego Boneta as Drew Boley – a wannabe rockstar, Russell Brand as Lonny – the manager of The Bourbon Room in which the two dreamers work, Alec Baldwin as Dennis – friend of Lonny owner of The Bourbon Room, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Patricia Whitmore – the main antagonist, Mary J. Blige as Justice Charlier – owner of The Venus Club, Tom Cruise as rock star Stacee Jaxx, Paul Giamatti as Paul Gill – an agent and Mailin Akerman as Constance Sack.

The film, directed by Adam Shankman, is to be released on June 15th 2012.
