Airbender Sequel?

On my weekly ‘The Last Airbender’ round up I discovered something very interesting regarding a sequel. Will Book 2 Earth become a motion picture event like Book 1 Water? Take a look right here.

M.Night has officially written 2 scripts for the second movie. He has also stated that if the second movie is to go ahead, Toph will be Asian. Avatar The Last Airbender is a series that could not have been simply concluded with Book 1. Without Books 2 and 3 it is a meaningless idea therefore I feel they have to create the other two movies.

With the announcement of a brand new television series this week,(being created by Mike and Bryan the shows original creators who helped consult M.Night in the script for the first movie) surely the series is attempting to move forward. Although not a continuation of the Aang storyline, it is clear that the series will always require more. Therefore the idea of not covering Books 2 and 3 kind of insults me.

I mean come on we need Azula’s blue firebending don’t we?
